This is an image that appeared to me during a nap. I think a mixture of pandemic related worries, a need for structure and a longing for the simplicity of the good ole days contributed to this piece. Dr. symbolizes the scientific technocracy that took root in 2020, the graphite scaffolding in which the letters are built form the structure of the piece and Sunbonnet Sue, the lady with the watering can is an image from my childhood.
